Dr. David Tolk grew up in Avon CT, and graduated from Avon Old Farms in 1997. He then went on to Furman University in Greenville South Carolina where he obtained his BS in Biology in 2001. Dr. David then attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and graduated in 2006. There he obtained the four year chiropractic program in 3 years.

Dr. David’s passion for patient care and continuous yearning for knowledge and mastery of new healing techniques allows him to practice at the top of his field. Even during his college days, his dorm room door never closed from experienced doctors wanting to get a sneak peek at the most current and cutting edge protocols Dr. David was committed to learning. During his mandatory schooling, he also took an additional 300 hours of seminars outside of the university on the following techniques: Applied Kinesiology, Brimhall wellness technique, sacral occipital technique, and Quantum Neurology. After completing school he joined his father at his practice in Simsbury CT in 2007. Since this time he has worked with the NHL Hockey team, the Hartford Wolf Pack, International Figure Skaters, Dancing with the Stars contestants, and many others.

Dr. David is the proud father to two wonderful children who have been treated with Chiropractic care since the day they were both born.

Dr. L. Andrew Tolk

Raised in both NY and NJ, Dr. Tolk graduated with the United States Naval Academy's Class of 1972.

During his time wrestling for the US Navy, Dr. Andrew sustained a pretty serious injury. After being treated by a number of Physicians, there were no improvements in his condition. On his search for healing, he ended up at a Chiropractor’s office. After a few visits, he noticed significant improvement! Because of his chiropractor, he was able to keep competing, which allowed him to achieve his goals and eventually reach the US Navy’s Sports Hall of Fame for Wrestling.

This experience opened his eyes to a whole new way of healing the human body. Since 1980, after attending and graduating from National Chiropractic College, it has been his mission to provide the same level of Wellness to his patients that he himself received since that first fortunate visit to a Chiropractic office.

For the past 30 years Dr. Tolk has dedicated his life not only to caring for his wife and four sons, but to passing on the passion for health and wellness to each patient that steps into his office.

Aside from being a well-loved and talented Doctor, Dr. Andrew is also an avid sports aficionado, runner, reader and motivational speaker.

“I believe that the current healthcare system is not the most optimal way of keeping people healthy. The current system is designed to get people already sick, healthy. In this model Americans spent approximately 3 trillion dollars last year.

I believe that this philosophy is only half the battle and that we as physicians and your partners in healthcare need to do better. We need to not only treat those patients that are sick, but, train our patients how to stay well by giving them the tools, care, and guidance to support and maintain a healthy, body, state of mind and overall wellbeing.

Just to be clear I believe there is a vital place for Western Medicine and I recommend other physicians to help patients when needed. “
